MEISSEN, Table, c.1880–1900, Top reserved with four mythological pâte sur pâte scenes against ground with busts, putti and birds against blue grey grounds within gilt scrolls and pendant pastel flowers. Gilt stiff leaved rim. Corinthian column topped support with acanthus leaves on the shaft and three scroll legs applied with modelled flowers separated by raised cartouches painted with pairs of birds, Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane.
